Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all orders placed with Devwise Bakehouse Sdn Bhd (Company Reg. No. 202302041185 (1524839-P)) and to your use of devwise.help. Placing an order means you accept them, so here they are in plain language.

1. Orders and confirmation

An order exists once we confirm it in writing (email or WhatsApp) and, for custom work, once the deposit is received. Enquiries, sketches and quotes do not reserve a date by themselves. Quotes remain valid for 14 days.

2. Deposits and payment

Custom celebration and wedding cakes require a 50% deposit to confirm, with the balance due 3 days before delivery or collection. Counter items, cupcake boxes and tea-time boxes are paid in full at ordering. We accept bank transfer, FPX, major cards and common e-wallets. Prices include SST where applicable.

3. Changes to an order

Flavour and inscription changes are free up to 5 working days before delivery. Design changes after the sketch is approved may re-price the order. Changes within 72 hours of delivery cannot be guaranteed, though we always try.

4. Cancellations

Cancellation terms, including when deposits are refundable, are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. Delivery and collection

We deliver within the Klang Valley in a chilled vehicle to the address you provide. Someone must be available to receive the order during the agreed window; if nobody is reachable for 30 minutes, the order returns to the bakehouse and re-delivery is chargeable. Risk passes to you on handover. For self-collection, we brief you on safe transport — after handover, transport conditions are your responsibility.

6. Allergens

Our single kitchen handles nuts, peanuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, soy and sesame every day. We label the main allergens of every product and can adapt many recipes, but we cannot guarantee the absence of traces of any allergen in any product. If an allergy is life-threatening, please treat our products as unsuitable.

7. Product appearance

Every cake is handmade; minor variations from photographs or sketches — shade of colour, placement of florals, exact height — are a feature of handcraft, not a defect. Fresh flowers are seasonal, and agreed substitutions of equal value may be made on the day.

8. Website content

All text, photography and designs on devwise.help belong to Devwise Bakehouse Sdn Bhd. You may share links freely; reproducing content commercially requires our written permission. The site is provided "as is" and we may amend menus and prices without notice — confirmed orders are always honoured at the confirmed price.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that Malaysian law does not allow to be limited. Beyond that, our liability for any order is capped at the price paid for it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute falls to the courts of Kuala Lumpur — though in six years, every issue has been solved with a phone call and usually a replacement bake.
